Profworld Privacy Policy

This is a legal document that sets out how Profworld manages your data. You should read it along with the Profworld Terms and Conditions, of which this Privacy Policy forms part.

This statement describes the privacy practices we apply for Profworld. As part of that, it also states our approach to complying with the data protection laws that apply in Spain. If we change this Privacy Policy, we will notify you of any change in the same way as we notify changes to the Profworld Terms and Conditions.

The information we receive and save.
Information gathered on registration. When you register on Profworld , you give us your name, address, e-mail etc. This information is available to you and you can change it through the Your Data section.

2. Sharing and use of information

The main principles are:
We will not supply your personal data to a third party for commercial exploitation – and therefore we will not sell the lists of our Registered persons email addresses to a third party; and the only circumstances in which we will provide any of your personal data to a third party for non-commercial purposes are those contained in this Privacy Policy.
Registration Information. Once a registration is made, the data that was given on registration to advertise your service will become available for potential students to look at.

Payments: All payments will be made through bank transfers or credit cards, the person registering can choose. Credit Card information. We use a secure system offered by La Caixa, one of the largest saving banks in Spain. This means that Members’ credit card details are never given to us.
If all of the assets which Profworld uses to operate its business (or substantially all of them) are acquired by a third party, we may transfer personal data we then hold to that party.
Place of processing. The personal information held by us is held on and processed by computers situated in Spain.
Security
We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally. However, it remains each person’s responsibility:

to protect against unauthorised access to Your Data;
to ensure against use by anyone else of  Profworld through the machine that Registered persons use while they are accessing Profworld ;
to log off or exit from  Profworld when not using it; and
to keep his/her password secret.
Cancellation
You may have your registration details removed at any time. To remove yourself please send an e-mail to Profworld.
Disclosure for legal reasons.
We reserve the right to communicate the Registered persons personal information as we hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it, and which make a legally-compliant request for its disclosure.
